The Southern Arizona Equine Health Symposium is presented by the Southern Arizona Equine Health Council (501c3) and The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.

This annual event began in 2017 and is held each year in January at the University of Arizona Farm in Tucson (Campbell and Roger Road). The one-day event features equine health lectures and demonstrations for all horse owners delivered by local veterinarians, University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, and industry leaders.

Members of the Southern Arizona Equine Health Council include Reata Equine Veterinary Group, UArizona Extension, Adobe Veterinary Center, Patterson Veterinary, McKenzie Farrier Services, and Olivier Fahrni (Farrier).

A portion of symposium proceeds benefit TROT (Therapeutic Riding of Tucson).
